Privacy
We built Subjectlinely to be useful without being intrusive. This page explains what we collect, what we don't, and why.
What we collect
For rate limiting only, we store a hashed counter keyed to your IP address: how many generations you've made today. This is reset every 24 hours and is never linked to any other identifier.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly: no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site tracking.
What we don't collect
- We don't store the topics you enter or the subject lines we generate.
- We don't require signup, so there are no account-level identifiers.
- We don't sell or share data with third parties.
What gets sent to our AI provider
When you click Generate, your inputs (topic, email type, tone, industry, emoji preference) are sent to a third-party AI inference provider that runs a large language model on our behalf. Their data handling is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not retain a copy on our side, and your inputs are not used for training.
